30 Inch Greens Harvester
This manual greens harvester borrows technology from the big band saw harvesters. It uses a scalloped knife blade to cleanly slice the leaves. A cloth basket, which is sized to hold 1.5kg follows to collect them. Dense plantings are required so the greens will support each other while being cut. A single operator can cut the entire width of the bed at once. Some skill, practice, and exertion are required to use it effectively.
The 30 inch harvester is recommended for beds up to 20 inches wide. A sharp blade is critical so we recommend also selecting our Round Diamond Hone
