A hardy, vigourous cold tolerant vegetable. The flavour of Komatsuna could be described as a combination of mustard and cabbage with a hint of spinach. This distinctive vegetable can be used in salads but it is also delicious in stir fry.

A uniform quick growing hybrid. The light green leaf stems are juicy and tender. The leaves are dark green and glossy. Torasan is a cold tolerant variety for autumn, winter and spring production. The heat tolerant variety Tokisan is more suitable for the warmer months.
