A large soft neck white garlic from south west France. Grown here for the last four years produced large bulbs in June. The garlic of the Cathars, 13th century heretics. Plant up to January, though before December is better to harvest in June.

Chesnok Wight 3 Bulbs for Planting

A purple hard neck from the southern Ukraine on the Black Sea. An ancient type probably introduced by herdsmen off the Steppes and propagated by the Sarmatian's. Produces attractive rocamboles or floral spikes that should be snapped off and enjoyed roasted or stir fried. Plant from September - January, harvest mid June onwards.

Early Purple Wight (Violet) 4 Bulbs for Planting

Early Purple Garlic, Ophioscorodon to harvest in May - Plant October to January, large purple bulbs will appear in mid-May in the South of England and early June in the North. Use and enjoy this garlic within three months of harvest.

Classic of South West France, from the village of Lautrec. Produces beautiful flowering twists on stems - rocamboles. A delicacy pickled or stir-fried. Attractive white-skinned garlic with deep purple cloves. Held by some in France to be the ultimate "ail de cuisine". Creamy, smooth flavour.
