Anaheim TMR
A tall, high yielding plant. The mildly pungent fruit ripens from dark green to red at full maturity. The fruits are 2 celled, smooth with thick flesh and wide shoulders. Ideal as a stuffing chilli, also good for freezing.
Ancho
Poblano chillies are heart-shaped with thick walls that make them ideal to stuff. They are green in colour and ripen to red and then brown. Pungency ranges from mild to moderate. The dried poblanos are called Ancho.
Born Fire F1
A strong growing cayenne type producing long thin bright red fruits. Medium tall plants with a spreading habit. Extremely prolific and the fruits have a good shelf life.
Caribbean Red Habanero
A red fruiting Habanero with even more fiery heat. Late maturing with higher yields than Orange Habanero.
Cayenne Long Slim
Produces a semi compact plant approx 60cm tall. The fruits are pendant setting, 2 celled, long and wrinkled with a thin fruit wall, they are ideal for drying.
Cayenne Orange F1 TSX T0901
A new hybrid orange cayenne pepper. Attractive glossy orange fruits which are pendant setting and a little more rounded than Golden Cayenne.
Cherry Bomb F1
An early productive hot cherry variety produced on small strong plants. The fruits are thick walled and approx. 7cm in diameter and ripen green to bright red.
Crimson Lee F1
A long thin Paprika type with mild pungency. The fruits are quite large and taper to a point. The sweet, spicy flesh is ideal for grilling, roasting or an adventurous addition to a summer salad.
Early Jalapeno
An early maturing open pollinated selection producing bullet shaped fruits produced on a compact plant. Fruits ripen green to red.
Fresno
The standard selection which produces upright setting conical shaped fruits which ripen green to red. A very prolific cropper.
Fresno Chili Supreme
Produces uniform conical shaped dark green fruits of good uniformity. Fruits are approx 20 gms and 7.5 cms in length, tapering to a point. Ideal for green and red fresh market production.
Fuego F1
A large fruited cayenne, ripens green to bright red. Grows well in cool conditions. One of the highest yielding varieties in commercial trials. Medium pungency.
Golden Cayenne
Medium sized cayenne with fruits ripening from green to bright yellow. Hot pungency and very prolific pendant setting fruits.
Habanero Orange
Produces small lantern shaped fruits ripening green to orange. Much slower to fruit than other varieties but extremely hot.
Hercules F1
Hybrid Jalapeno variety suited to the UK, with excellent cracking resistance. Fruits ripen green to red, though best picked at green stage for highest quality. Fruit size, 10 cms x 2.5 cms with a blunt point and slightly tapered. Well suited for long season production. Ideal for pizza topping or stuffing.
Hungarian Hot Wax
Popular `Yellow Wax' type, proved to be prolific and easy to grow. Fruits ripen pale yellow, to orange and red at maturity. Used fresh in salads or pickled.
Jalapeno M
Standard open pollinated selection producing bullet shaped fruits produced on a compact plant. Fruits ripen green to red.
Joes Long Cayenne
Extremely long fruiting cayenne tapering to a point. The fruits ripen from green to red and can be used for hot sauces, ristras and are ideal for dried pepper flakes.
Maylon F1
A larger dark green hybrid Jalapeno variety, with dark glossy skin. Heavy fruits are produced on a strong vigorous plant. Slightly larger than Hercules, Maylon is slightly more prone to cracking, so care is required when harvesting.
Padron
A Spanish 'Tapas' pepper. The fruits are conical, slightly wrinkled with a long curled pedicle. The pepper should be consumed at the green stage. This varity contains Capsaicin but is not uniform throughout the crop and only a few are HOT.
Pelita F1
A slightly shorter fruit than Super Hot. Extremely hot. The fruits are borne on bushy medium tall upright plants.
Piros F1
A long slim Anaheim type producing attractive 18 cms fruits. Ripens green to dark red. Medium hot pungency.
Safi
A tropical African Scotch Bonnet selection. It is darker red in colour than Carribean Antillais and slightly smaller. Produces good yields under cooler growing conditions.
Santa Fe Grande
A pale yellow Fresno type. Ripens yellow / orange / red. The plants are short and bushy and produce very uniform, thick walled, conical shaped fruits which taper to a point.
Scotch Bonnet - Big Sun
A yellow fruiting variety with heavy yields. Fruit size 6.5 x 5.5 cms ripening green to bright yellow. Extremely productive.
Scotch Bonnet - Caribbean Antillias
Red fruiting Scotch Bonnet with quite large globular shaped fruits, 5 x 3 cms. Used for cooking and ideal for sauces. Extremely pungent and strong aroma.
Serenade F1
Popular Fresno shaped hybrid noted for its high quality and shelf life. The fruits are slightly tapered. Plant habit is medium spreading, good for red production.
Serrano del Sol
A very hot small variety. Produced on small bushy plants with unusual hairy leaves. The fruits can be chopped and used in a salsa.
Super Chilli F1
Similar fruit size and shape to Thai Dragon but with thin wall. The fruit is upright setting and ripens from light green to orange red. Can be used fresh, dried or pickled. Ideal as an ornamental pot plant.
Super Hot F1 (Demon)
A new hybrid Thai chilli producing small uniform fruits 7-8cm long. Extremley hot pungency ripening green to red. Fruit set is predominately on the outside of the plant aiding harvest. High yielding.
Thai Dragon F1
Fiery red, small, pointed very hot Thai chillis. The fruits are early into production
Tobasco
A fiery small pointed chilli. Well known ingredient in the famous spicy sauce. The fruits ripen from yellow to green to orange red and have a unique smoky taste. Easy to dry and is ideal for use in spicy Asian dishes or pickling.
Tokyo Hot F1
Very prolific, pencil thin cayenne variety producing extremely uniform green to red fruits. Sweet spicy hot flavour.
